Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Temporarily Backs Out of Rebellion Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Sean “Daddy” Combs, who has faced sexual assault charges since November, has chosen to temporarily step down as chairman of television channel Revolt. According to TMZ insiders, the decision, made last week, is seen as a move to prevent legal battles from hindering the network’s mission and success.

The 54-year-old mogul will not be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the American music-based digital cable television network during this period. Instead, Revolt, which is currently celebrating its 10-year anniversary, will be led by CEO Detavio Samuels and Chief Brand Officer Deon Graham.

Diddy’s decision follows a lawsuit filed by singer Casey and new allegations from two additional women accusing him of sexual assault and rape. One petitioner, Joey Dickerson Neal, claims she was drugged and raped by Duddy in 1991 during her college years. A second accuser, who remains anonymous, alleges that Diddy and his songwriter friend Aaron Hall “raped her” in the 1990s.
