While expressing confidence in X’s resilience and the gradual return of advertisers, Musk acknowledged the concerns of brand advertisers, emphasizing that it might be a short-term challenge. He had previously warned that the ad boycott could have severe consequences for the company.
Attributing the challenges to a “woke mind virus,” Musk criticized organizations that abandoned X, describing identity politics as “divisive,” “anti-meritocratic,” and “not fun.”
Advocating for legal migration, Musk emphasized the importance of welcoming honest individuals willing to work hard. However, he stressed the need to differentiate between legal and illegal immigration, suggesting a focus on increasing legal immigration.
Musk issued a warning about the consequences of a stagnant birth rate, stating that “people will disappear” without an increase in population growth. He underscored the significance of domestic population growth, cautioning businesses considering investments in Italy about the associated risks given the country’s low fertility rate. As discussions about immigration, identity politics, and social consciousness continue, Musk’s perspective adds a unique dimension to the conversation, highlighting the interconnectedness of demographic trends and economic considerations.
