Starring the captivating Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular character and Chris Hemsworth as the mysterious Dementus, “Furiosa” delves into the backstory of the renegade warrior we first met in “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Charlize Theron’s portrayal of Furiosa in that film earned rave reviews and cemented her status as one of cinema’s most badass female action heroes. Now, Taylor-Joy takes the reins to explore Furiosa’s journey before she teamed up with Mad Max to take down the tyrannical Immortan Joe.
An All-Star Cast and Crew
Joining Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth are a host of talented actors, including Daniel Webber, Nathan Jones, Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, and Goran D. Kleut. Behind the camera, the legendary George Miller, who directed all previous “Mad Max” films, returns to the helm for “Furiosa.” He co-wrote the script with Nick Lathouris and co-produced the film with Doug Mitchell.
