The much-anticipated finale of ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ on Netflix left viewers disappointed as the grand $4.6 million prize winner was determined through a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The reality TV show, inspired by the Korean drama Squid Game, showcased various challenging games like Red Light, Green Light, Honeycombs, and Hopscotch. Out of 456 players, the final three contestants—Player 016 Sam, Player 287 Mai, and Player 451 Phil—competed for the substantial prize.
However, the concluding game choice, Rock, Paper, Scissors, didn’t sit well with fans, and many expressed their disappointment on social media. The final outcome saw Mai winning the grand prize by choosing the correct key to open the safe with a golden credit card.
