Race relations expert Buki Mosaku argues that concerns about a child’s skin tone are “perfectly normal” for family discussions, accusing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of an “attention-seeking PR stunt.”
Mosaku told the Daily Star that conversations about the skin color of unborn babies, especially with mixed-race parents, are common in various cultures worldwide. While some may find questioning skin tone crude, Mosaku emphasizes that it occurs daily within mixed-race families.

Describing the couple’s reaction as preposterous, Mosaku suggests that Harry and Meghan may have blown the comments out of proportion to maintain media attention. He offers to provide a “What is racism?” starter course on a complimentary basis if the couple genuinely believes the comments were discriminatory.
