The reaction came after he conducted an interview with Sikh leader Grupatunat Singh Pinan, focusing on the failed Indian attempt to assassinate him on American soil.
Rajonshi’s in-depth Q&A with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader and spokesperson for the Khalistan Referendum, Pinan, focused on the Financial Times’ investigation into the failed assassination attempt. The controversy escalated when the interview drew threats, including those of Abhijit Iyer Mitra, a defense analyst attached to the Indian government.
